Broward County Media Specialists Get On Board with 21st Century Learning!!
With the theme, "Get on Board With 21st Century Learning," the Broward County Association of Media Specialists (BCAMS) held a very special reception for Superintendent Robert W. Runcie, on February 1, 2012 at Virginia Shuman Young Elementary's library media center. School Board members, parents, teachers, students, administrators, and library media specialists welcomed Superintendent Runcie by showcasing library media centers as the "heart" of our schools and how our media specialists serve as the "change agents" that promote critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
